Efficient & Reliable

Very efficient and reliable service. I had an emergency situation with my car – The  battery died on the morning I was supposed to drive up to Monterey for work.  I stopped by Fair Oaks Smog Test and the mechanic said he could replace my battery in less than 15 minutes. Not only did the mechanic switch out the battery in record time, but he also double checked the battery health with me and made sure to give me the best price. I'm very satisfied and grateful for his service! Make sure to come here if you ever encounter any problems with your car. This place is not only for smog tests!

Visiting for the weekend and decided to get an oil change out of the way. I dropped in at 9am and was in and out in 15 mins! I would highly recommend :)

Although the title says "smog test", it has a mechanic shop on premises as well. The mechanic is professional and very knowledgeable. Most importantly, it's very reasonably priced, and fast. I was in and out of there within and hour.

My check tire light came on and I stopped to fill air at the gas station. I had some trouble with the air machine and asked the man working the Smog Test station if he also checks tires. He filled my tires, even lifted the car and checked one of them for a leak, all without taking any money. Great customer service, would definitely go back for a smog check.

It's my 2nd time here. So far so good. Clean work area. They will really REALLY check under the hood. So if you have any aftermarket parts, make sure you have the  CARB decal/sticker. A little pricey but I still prefer this place 'coz it's not busy and easy access even though it's by a gas station.
